KAs PLANT TREES FOR EARTH DAY
On this year's Earth Day, our brothers contributed to GW's campus-wide celebration by volunteering to plant cherry trees on H Street, in the middle of the Foggy Bottom campus. This was part of GW's celebration of Earth Day as President Knapp signed the climate commitment pledge. KAs were proud to continue the fraternity's tradition of planting trees and were pumped to get their hands dirty to make our campus more beautiful!

"The fraternal order of Kappa Alpha officially returned to GW last weekend. About 30 members were present to receive the group's charter, a ceremonial marker of the chapter's reinstatement. Kappa Alpha first established a chapter at GW in 1894, with notable alumni including former FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, but left campus in 1960.
